As a proud alumna, I am honored to be a part of the faculty at Santa Rosa High School. I attended Santa Rosa Junior College where I earned my AS in Natural Sciences and attended San Francisco State University to complete my Bachelor's in Environmental Science in 2010.
I worked as a kayaking guide, naturalist, scientific aide, resource technician, and environmental educator before earning my teaching credentials in Geosciences and Biological Sciences from Sonoma State University. I began working at SRHS in 2016, was nominated as Teacher of the Year in 2019, earned my certificates for teaching AP Biology in 2019 and AP Environmental Science in 2020, and became the elected Department Chair of the Science Department in 2021. I continue to serve as the EcoClub advisor on campus, 2017-present. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, traveling, photography, drawing, and painting. |
